Two people injured in motorcycle crash in neighboring Dodge County 

August 31, 2019 – Dodge Co., WI – On Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 3:03 p.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s responded to a report of a single motorcycle crash on STH 33 approximately 0.2 west of County Highway AY in the Township of Herman.

Crash investigation on scene shows a motorcycle occupied by two was traveling eastbound on STH 33 lost control when the rear tire of the motorcycle blew causing both occupants to be ejected from the motorcycle.

The driver, a 58-year-old male from Beaver Dam who was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

He was flown via UW Med-Flight helicopter to the UW Madison Hospital.

The passenger, a 46 year old female from Beaver Dam who was not wearing a helmet, suffered serious life-threatening injuries.

She was also flown via a second UW Med-Flight helicopter to the UW Madison Hospital.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the crash. Names of both parties involved will not be released at this time.

Assisting on scene was the Iron Ridge Fire/First Responders, Allenton Fire/EMS, West Bend Paramedics, Beaver Dam Paramedics and two UW Med-Flight Helicopters.
