August 22, 2019 – West Bend, WI – On Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 3:53 p.m. West Bend Police responded to a call for assistance at S. River Road and Rusco Drive.
When officers arrived on the scene, a 25-year-old male was threatening suicide.
He was armed with a 8“ bladed knife and a handgun.
Officers were able to safely disarm the subject and take him into custody.
After disarming the subject, the officers learned the gun he had was a BB gun.
The subject was conveyed to an area hospital for observation.
There were no injuries to any officers.
