August 22, 2019 – West Bend, WI – One person has been taken into custody by West Bend Police following a high-profile stop Thursday afternoon on Rusco Drive, just west of River Road.
About five West Bend Police squads cordoned off an area just to the east of the Eisenbahn State Trail.
Witnesses said police had a person pulled over on a bicycle. Witnesses also said police had their guns drawn.
An ambulance was seen leaving the area just after 4:15 p.m.
“It was a person on a bike and he’s been taken into custody without too much of an incident and will be awaiting charges,” said Police.
More details are expected to be released when information becomes available.
