VIDEO | Updates on construction projects underway on Highway 33 in West Bend

August 14, 2019 – West Bend, WI – There’s quite a bit of development underway in West Bend. Take a look at some of the projects below.

-The new Verizon store is just one of two buildings underway on W. Washington Street across from Sendik’s.  MSI General said the first site plan is for a 3,000-square-foot commercial building, located approximately 300’ west of 18th Avenue on the south side of W. Washington Street. The development also has a second commercial building pad proposed to the west. The details for the second building have not been determined and a separate site plan approval will be needed when that development has been determined.

Steve Kearns owns the nearly three acres to the east of the Russ Darrow Nissan Dealership. Kearns also owns the parcel between the building and Westbury Bank. He bought that lot over two years ago when Stacy and Matt Gehring from Pizza Ranch were set to build there.

Kearns has not yet disclosed what he is going to do with the property. What do you think should go there?
