Obituary | Priscilla Ann Horn (nee Domask), 95, of Neenah

July 18, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Priscilla Ann Horn age 95 of Neenah, WI, formerly of West Bend, WI, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019. She was born on December 3, 1923 in Berlin, WI. She was the oldest daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (nee Secora).

She attended grade school in Berlin, WI and graduated from Berlin High School in 1941. After high school, she attended the Winnebago County Normal School in Oshkosh, WI. She returned to Berlin where she was employed as a secretary for the Superintendent of the Berlin School District. She was later employed as a bookkeeper for the Sanitary Dairy in Berlin, WI. She met her future husband, Claire Horn, while she was employed at Sanitary Dairy. She corresponded with Claire while he was deployed in Europe with the 95th Division during WWII. They were engaged while Claire was in the Army and married on July 16, 1945 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Berlin, WI. They first settled in Kewaskum, WI after they were married. A son, Michael, was born in 1946 and a daughter, Cheryl, was born in 1952. They moved to West Bend, WI in 1956. Priscilla was active in Cub Scouts and the West Bend Home Makers. Priscilla worked at Schultz Brothers Five and Dime Store from 1956 until 1980. Claire and Priscilla officially retired in 1985. They enjoyed travelling throughout the United States, especially Hawaii, after their retirement. Priscilla was an avid reader. She was fond of sky blue pink sunsets.

Claire and Priscilla were married for 68 years. She is survived by two children, Michael (Elizabeth) Horn of Boise, ID and Cheryl (Michael) Barth of Neenah, WI, three grandchildren Christopher (Jenny) Barth, Sarah Barth and Laura (George) Brown and four great-grandchildren: Audrey, Jack and Callen Barth and Genevieve Brown.

Priscilla is preceded in death by her husband, Claire, her parents Joseph and Regina Domask, and her sisters Elaine Domask and Doris Kosteski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 19th, 2019 at 12:00 noon at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend, WI with Rev. Andrew Infanger presiding. Entombment will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, at the church only from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Frances Cabrini Church would be appreciated.
