May 13, 2019 – Mayville, WI – Alex E. Nortman, 18, of Mayville, passed away from an automobile accident on Thursday, May 9, 2019.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Bowman leading at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.
Alex was born to Dean and Deborah (Shafer) Nortman on July 8, 2000 in Beaver Dam. He is set to graduate from Mayville High School in 2019. After graduating Alex was pursuing his love for the military and exploring his options for serving the US. He was a devout Christian, he enjoyed fishing, and loved baseball. Alex was the best big brother, and son. His friends and family were everything to him.
He will be deeply missed by his mother; Debbie (Mike) Jackson of Mayville, father; Dean Nortman of Beaver Dam, sisters and brothers; Rachel (Chance) Feller of North Carolina, Eli Jackson, Aleia Ryan, Amya Ryan all of Mayville, Brandon Oshia, Jonathon Jackson both of Missouri, and Devon Jackson of Fond du Lac, maternal grandparents; Neil (Edith) Shafer of Fox Point, and paternal grandparents; Bernie (Barb) Nortman of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Alex was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
