Devona Mitchell – I like your site because it gives me up-to-date information about what is happening in the community and also what is happening with local businesses. I do not subscribe to the news so I get most of my news local news from you!

Kathleen Vaughan – It is nice to keep us older folks aware of what is happening around us… Thank you to the Sheriff’s Dept in Washington County and to The Washington County Insider…. You all do such a fine job and it is appreciated much more than all of you know…

March 23 Pat West Judy.. First of all, thanks for all your excellent reportage of the happenings in WB.. I no longer live there and have not for 40 years. Do keep up your excellent reporting

Irmgard Spors – Thank you so much for your lovely article about my granddaughter, Lexi Bullis. I am, of course, biased, but Lexi works very hard at everything she does. The news recently wrote an article on the newly formed boys snow board team. They never mentioned that the much smaller school not only formed a boys snow board team, but a girls team as well in the same short period of time. As a matter of fact, as Lexi mentioned, the Slinger girls team won conference in two events! I was very disappointed in the news for their ignoring the Slinger teams.  Thank you so very much for featuring Lexi in your posts. I always said I learned more about West Bend in your articles than anywhere else. Thank you for the wonderful work you do and good luck with your next excursion.

You are quick to find out information. Plus, it is positive news about the past or current events. I believe that is why it has taken off. I now live in Northwestern Milwaukee and there is too much negativity.  There is also A LOT of community and public good happening in the central city and edges of the city. But, it doesn’t make up the majority of the news that is my observation. I hope to meet you one day, soon.

My father, Ronald Klos, was President of the BBA in the 90’s. He owned Rozon Vending at 1718 North Main Street in Barton. I lived there from 1983 – 2000. I totally appreciate the work that you are doing in Barton. In fact, I had to pick up a donation of Lithia Beer on Friday. So, I stopped to see Essie and Hank. I also had lunch at Sandy’s Cafe.
