VIDEO | Paying it forward at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County

April 14, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – A regular Sunday series sponsored by Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County a local organization that connects seniors with caring volunteers.

The volunteers and board members at Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County are extremely appreciative of all the people who have helped over the years.

Ruth has been a  volunteer shopper with Interfaith Caregivers for about three years.  “I go out shopping for someone who can’t leave her apartment,” she said. “Sometimes my granddaughter comes along. The experience has taught her about being kind and giving back to people in the community.”

Everyone involved in Interfaith Caregivers is doing their part in helping make the life of area senior citizens that much easier.

Interfaith Caregivers is in the running to win $1,600. It’s a promotional opportunity run by First Back Financial Centre. Participants are encouraged to vote daily. Voting ends April 30 and the organization with the most votes will win.

Giving time to Interfaith Caregivers is a rewarding experience.

Whether it’s getting a group together to clean up an elderly neighbor’s yard or simply folding a fresh load of laundry, your time makes a real difference! In the end, don’t be surprised if you forget who’s helping who.
