Cedar Community and American Construction Services announce remodeling project | By Carrie Sturn

March 19, 2019 – West Bend, WI –  Cedar Community recently announced renovation plans for its Top of the Ridge Restaurant on the Cedar Ridge Campus, 113 Cedar Ridge Drive, West Bend.

American Construction Services, in partnership with American Architectural Group and Studio Lux design firm, will manage renovations at the restaurant. American will serve as the general contractor on the 4,560 square foot remodel, with renovations beginning on March 27, 2019 with completion by the middle of June.

Plans for the restaurant include a complete renovation with new walls, carpet, furniture, the addition of a bar, and lounge area in the restaurant lobby. There will still be an area for private dining in the back of the restaurant for small groups hosting an event, meeting or family gathering. The project focuses on providing a casual dining experience while keeping up-to-date on the latest trends, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our residents and guests.

“Cedar Community strives to create an attractive senior living community for our current residents and for generations to come. Oftentimes, the dining experience is one of the most important considerations for people choosing a retirement community. Our goal is to create an environment where the food cuisine and restaurant ambiance offer an exceptional dining experience for our residents and their guests,” said Julie Gabelmann, Vice President of Resident Experience.

Cedar Community’s Top of the Ridge Restaurant offers a variety of menu options, including many healthy and fresh options, as well as home-style favorites, daily specials and Friday night fish frys. The restaurant is also available for private parties and events, and offers catering options including to-go platters.

“Cedar Community and the Top of the Ridge Restaurant have always been gracious hosts for West Bend,” said Kraig Sadownikow, President of American Construction Services, “We are honored they have selected us to enhance such a significant part of their campus, and we will deliver a facility the residents and community can be proud to enjoy for years to come.”

The restaurant will close Monday, March 25 with operations moving temporarily to Cedar Ridge’s Grand Hall. More banquet-type offerings will be available during the construction.
