March 14, 2019 – Slinger, WI – Jodi Renee Schonasky, 37, of Slinger, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 16th from noon until 2 p.m. at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul W. Schupmann officiating at church.

Jodi was born the daughter of George S. and Judy M. (Toellner) Schonasky on June 16, 1981 in Waupun. She was a 1999 graduate of Markesan High School. Jodi worked at the Markesan Piggly Wiggly for many years and recently worked for Quad Graphics for seven years.

Jodi enjoyed reading, and playing softball. She was very smart, thoughtful and kind, a truly beautiful soul. Jodi always had a smile and she had a great sense of humor. She took great joy in making others laugh.

She is survived by her son; Josh Redman of Slinger, mother; Judy (Leo) Lackas of Beaver Dam, twin brother; Jason (Jackie) Schonasky of Mayville, brothers; Chad (Jessica) Schonasky of Markesan and Tyler (Nicole) Lackas of Esko, MN, nieces and nephews; Samarah, Kiley, Landen, Brayden, Jaxon, James and Jace. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jodi was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her father; George Schonasky.
