Feb. 24, 2019 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran hosted the WIAA Division 3 regional finals against the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning Saturday night.
In the first half, the Chargers half-court press forced 16 turnovers bu Lake Country. From there, the Chargers’ depth served them well as they wore down Lake Country and continued to extend their lead, finishing with a 53 to 33 victory.
Scoring was spread evenly for the Chargers as senior, Megan Sina and sophomore, Emma Thistle, both led with 9 points each. Seniors Amelia Bock and Abby Washburn both pitched in 8.
This Thursday at Brown Deer, KML will compete against Milwaukee School of Languages in the Sectional Semifinals.
