The steel truss pedestrian bridge was loaded back on a flatbed trailer Monday at 9 a.m. and taken for a ride to Madison where it will get three coats of white paint. The bridge will then be returned and set in place over the Milwaukee River connecting Veterans Avenue with Vest Park and Main Street in downtown West Bend.
The bridge was supposed to be white. The contractor confirmed, they will have the project completed by mid-May
