Obituary | Jeffrey "Jeff" Spaeth, 60, of Slinger

He was born on December 5, 1958 in Hartford, WI to Joseph W and Betty (nee Tesselaar) Spaeth.

Jeff graduated from Slinger High School in 1977. He enjoyed taking rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing (but rarely catching anything), watching Packer games, and drinking Busch Light with his neighbor and friends. Jeff loved to laugh and make others laugh. His “girls” were the most important part of his life.

Throughout the years, Jeff held many jobs. He drove semi-truck, hauled milk, and for the past 18 years he worked for the Washington County Highway Department. Through all of these jobs, Jeff met so many people who left a lasting impact on his life.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Dawnmarie; daughters, Haley (Travis) Kordosky and Carly; his parents Joseph W and Betty Spaeth; siblings, Joseph C. (Mary) Spaeth, James (Denise) Spaeth, Diane (Marty) Jacobs, Jane (Dave) Gottsacker, Joyce (Keith) Beine, Steve (Janet) Spaeth; sister-in-law, Doralee Piering; niece, Danielle Piering. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by sister Christine Spaeth, parents-in-law Gus and Esther Grisius, and other family and friends.

A “Celebration of Life” Service will be at 6:30PM on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastors David and Christy Schoob presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, January 28, 2019 from 3:00PM until 6:15PM.

A special thank you to the Neurosciences ICU at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, his loving and caring nurses in the ICU (especially Blaine and Colleen), and all the other medical professionals that provided comfort and care to Jeff and his family.
