Obituary | Robert E. Fellenz, 87, of West Bend

Jan. 18, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Robert E. Fellenz, of West Bend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 17, 2019. He was born to Barbara (Hausmann) and Anton Fellenz on Oct. 20, 1931 in Barton. He was the youngest of six boys.

Bob attended West Bend High School. On May 14, 1955 he married the love of his life, Audrey Krueger in West Bend. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Bob worked at Gehl Company for 43 years. He was a member of the Hexelbank club.

Bob enjoyed bowling and was in leagues at Weilands/King Pin and Lighthouse Lanes. He always loved a clean car and taking care of his lawn. Bob was a big Packer and Brewer fan. He took many daily walks and loved time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The surviving family that will continue to cherish his memory includes his wife of 63 years, Audrey. Children: Steve (Lynn), Jeff, Dr. Scott (Arlo), and Jill (Willy) Whitlock. Grandchildren: Aimee (Cory) Higgins, Michelle (Mike) Anderson, Megan (Eric) Sager, Jacob (Katie) Whitlock, Kelsey Whitlock, Shannon Whitlock, Alexis Fellenz, Ashtyn Fellenz. Great Grandchildren: Steven & Katy Anderson and Kailey & Cody Sager. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Lawrence, George, Gregory (Bernice), Anton (Marie), Theodore (Phyllis) and in-laws: Joyce (Jerome) Goeden and Robert (Ruth) Krueger.

A funeral service will be held at 5:15 PM on Thursday, January 24th at The Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend) Visitation with family will be from 3:00 until 5:00 PM. Private family burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
