Deadline to submit candidacy papers for HUHS Board of Education election extended | By Samantha Sali

Jan. 3, 2019 – Hartford, WI – The deadline to submit candidacy paperwork for the Hartford Union High School’s Board of Education April 2, 2019 election has been extended.

Two seats are up for election on the Hartford Union High School’s (HUHS) Board of Education as terms are up are Craig Westfall (Deputy Clerk/Treasurer) and Bill Savage (Clerk)

Bill Savage, the Clerk for HUHS Board of Education, is not seeking re-election this spring. “[He] did not file candidacy or non-candidacy paperwork, and has indicated he is not running,” said HUHS Communications Coordinator, Teri Kermendy. “As a result we had to extend the deadline from January 2 to January 7 at 5 p.m.”

Current board member, Craig Westfall, filed candidacy paperwork for his current seat as Deputy Clerk/Treasurer.The new term starts April 22, 2019 and will last three years (April 2022).

Adam Majerus, current Treasurer for the School District of Hartford Board of Education has also filed candidacy paperwork.
