Obituary | Irvin Edward Beistle, 86, of Hartford

Jan. 2, 2019 – Hartford, WI – Irvin E. Beistle, 86, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Clearview Nursing Home.

Irvin Edward Beistle Obituary

He was born on May 21, 1932 in St. Lawrence to parents Roman and Anna (Hagen) Beistle. He was united in marriage on May 21, 1955 at St. Mathias Church, Nabob to Rosemary Doll. Irvin worked at Gehl Co. for numerous years and retired from Maysteel in 1995. Irvin enjoyed listening to polka music and will be remembered for his sense of humor. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Irvin is survived by four children, Sharon (David) Metzger of Juneau, Lawrence “Larry” of St. Lawrence, Linda (Robert) Herriges of Hartford and Edward (Sandy) of Appleton; daughter-in-law, Carol Beistle; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Doll; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Irvin was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rosemary and infant son, Lawrence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4886 Hwy 175, Hartford on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 12 Noon with Fr. Davies Edassery presiding. Visitation for family and friends at Church from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Committal at Church Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to St. Lawrence Church. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Clearview for their loving care and support.
