Dec. 13, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – The UWM at UW-Washington County Wildcats played the Cyclones of UWO at Fox Valley on Wednesday night. The Wildcats found themselves down early trailing 45-29, and they needed to find some extra energy for the second half.
After coming out of the gates slow in the first half, the Wildcats turned it around the first seven minutes of the second half.
However, frustration continued to build as the Wildcats struggled to knock down shots. They still dug in defensively, because you can’t always control if your shot goes in or not. Eventually, the Cyclones put an end to the Wildcats comeback, and UWO at Fox Valley claimed the 77-64 victory.
David Britton lead the Wildcats tonight with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 steals. Miles Perkins added another 13 rebounds and 6 assists, and Ross Waddell added another 16 points.
The Wildcats will resume play after the Christmas break. However, the would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
