Oct. 3, 2018 – West Bend, WI – We’ve gotta be getting close. Doesn’t it feel like it’s close?
The elephant in the room is the opening of 18th Avenue in West Bend.
It’s worse than a child waiting for Christmas.
The road has been closed since April and neighbors are getting antsy as the road ‘looks’ like it’s finished but the orange and white barricades are still in place at Decorah Road and Vogt Drive.
Word on the street is “some” people are already driving on it.
The city engineer said he will let us know when it’s good to go. Early word is it’ll probably be Oct. 15….
