Sept. 25, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – The Lady Wildcats of UWM at Washington County defeated UW-Green Bay at Sheboygan County in a WCC Eastern Division match 25-23, 26-24, 25-11.
The Wildcats brought their A game as they went into their first away-match win at Sheboygan.
The first two games were close but the Wildcats came out strong in the end.
There is always room for improvement and the team stepped up with skill and communication.
We are connecting and growing more together as the season goes on. Seeing how much the team has improved from the first to the second game, we are looking forward to what the rest of the season brings.
Morgan Kappler had 7 kills, 3 ace serves and 13 digs. Kayla Schommer had 27 assists for kills, and 2 ace serves, Catherine Tucker led the team with 29 digs and Kayla Boehm led the team with 10 kills and 5 blocks.
UWM at Washington County will be home on Friday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. against Manitowoc.
