August 27, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Doris Wiskerchen, nee Liermann, died on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at her home at the age of 99 years. She was born on April 18, 1919 in Random Lake, WI to the late George and Elsie (nee Hintz) Liermann. She worked at Boston Stores in Milwaukee and West Bend for many years.
She married LeRoy Wiskerchen on October 6, 1962 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. After LeRoy retired in 1980, they moved to Port Richey, FL where they spent their winters.
They returned to West Bend full time in the early 2000’s.
LeRoy predeceased April 15, 2002.
Survivors include 1 niece Judy Olson, 1 nephew-in-law Mark LaFever, other relatives and friends.
In addition to LeRoy and her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Lester, Elmer and Edward, 2 sisters-in-law Gertrude Liermann and Vera Liermann and 1 niece Sandra LaFever.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 31 at 1 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with Rev. Dave Kellerman officiating. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
