The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the motoring public that with warmer temperatures also brings with it an increase in motorcycle traffic. Also, it is important to remember that intoxicants impair your ability to maintain balance and to have good coordination. Intoxicants also impair your ability to make good decisions.

All three of these are very important to have full control of when operating any motor vehicle, but especially when operating a motor cycle. Operating a motor cycle is an enjoyable past time for many of our citizens, but it doesn’t come without risks.

The Sheriff’s Office asks that you not increase those risk with alcohol, as we want everyone to have fun and make it home safely to their families at the end of every ride.
Additional information can be obtained by contacting Sheriff Dale J Schmidt.
