Beaver Dam resident and Mayor of Fox Lake, Thomas Bednarek is the lucky winner of the $1,000,000 prize from the Saturday, Feb. 20 Powerball drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Rechek’s Food Pride, 609 N. Spring Street in Beaver Dam.
Rechek’s Food Pride will receive $20,000 for selling the winning ticket. Retailers who sell winning tickets over $599
receive an incentive of 2 percent of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000.
The winning Powerball numbers from Saturday, February 20 were 11, 12, 15, 16 and 54 with a
Powerball of 25. The Power Play number was 5. The winning ticket matched the five regular winning numbers, but not the Powerball.
