June 30, 2018 – Kewaskum, WI – Florence L. Heinecke (nee Friedemann), 93, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Samaritan, in West Bend.
She was born on June 10, 1925 to the late William and Selma (nee Endlich) Friedemann in West Bend. After graduating High School, Florence attended Normal School for two years and then taught in a one room school house of student’s grades 1st-8th grade at Oak Knoll School. On March 16, 1946 she was united in marriage to Harry Heinecke. Florence then worked at the Regal Ware Company for over 30 years until retirement. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Florence loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those Florence leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two children, Judy Heinecke and Tom (Ruth) Heinecke; three grandchildren, Andy (Denise) Heinecke, Joe (Laura) Heinecke, and Kate (Brad) Barrett; four great-grandchildren, Sam Heinecke, Evie Heinecke, Eddie Heinecke, and Kayla Barrett; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Heinecke and her sister, Gladys Friedemann.
A funeral service in remembrance of Florence will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Burial to follow at St. John’s Memorial Cemetery, Kohlsville.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
