Violet and her mom, a local bicycling advocate, Ori take a spin around the indoor course at the Kettle Moraine YMCA during Saturday’s Bike Bonanza. Kids maneuvered through an obstacle course in the track gym at the Y. They had the place all to themselves from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

On a side note – by the time I got to the Y to take a couple photos Violet told her mom that it was really time to go home. You know that tired plea. There’s rarely anything you can do to change their minds.
In an extremely lame effort I showed Violet my new business card with a bicycle on the back. “Oh look!,” said her mom. Believe it or not – it worked.
Violet took the card and placed it in her bicycle basket on the handlebars and took the card for a ride.
