May 6, 2018 – Town of Trenton, WI- On Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11:13 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motorcycle accident located on Wallace Lake Road west of N. Poplar Road in the town of Trenton.
Deputies, along with Newburg Fire Department, and West Bend Intercept were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival of deputies, a 44-year-old town of Farmington man was located lying in the ditch, with a severe head injury.
He was the sole operator of the motorcycle. Flight for Life was requested to the Trenton Town Hall.
After being treated on-scene by emergency medical personnel, the man was subsequently flown to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
Wallace Lake Road was closed for about an hour.
A preliminary investigation into the cause of the accident revealed the man had been driving east bound on Wallace Lake Road, when he struck a deer, and then was ejected from his motorcycle.
The man had not been wearing a helmet. The deer appears to be the only contributing factor to the crash at this time.
