April 29, 2018 – West Bend, WI – It felt like a night at the opera as friends and family gathered for a concert with mezzo-soprano Kathryn Flynn.
“She’s made Barton very proud,” said Mary Moll.
The 20-year-old Flynn wowed the crowd with pieces by W.A. Mozart, Sondheim and Johannes Brahms.
Flynn captured the attention of the room with poise and professionalism. She was humble and grateful for the support of her family and instructors including teacher and accompanist Peter Gibeau and Hazel Griffin.
Flynn finally took a well-deserved bow only after being prompted by someone in the audience. The applause filled the church.
