April 5, 2018 – Kewaskum, WI – Lawrence R. “Larry” Blattner, 66, of Kewaskum died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 1, 1951 in Milwaukee to Lawrence W. and Lucille E. (nee Wallermann) Blattner and was united in marriage to Laurie A. Faller on May 15, 1993 in Door County.
Larry retired from Herker Industries in 2010. He was an avid sailor and loved animals and the outdoors.
Larry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Laurie, his daughter Jennifer (Michael) McCleish and 3 grandchildren: Patrick, Colleen and Molly McCleish. He is further survived by his 2 sisters: Susan (Richard) Bosshard and Nancy Blattner, his beloved Aunt Judy (Heinz) Holaus, his loving cousin Kevin Blattner, his sister-in-law Karin (Michel) Sheer and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 12 noon at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend with Rev. Patrick Heppe presiding. Private burial will take place in St. Martin of Tours Cemetery in Franklin. The family will greet visitors on Monday, at Holy Angels Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
