March 19, 2018 – Dodge Co., WI – On March 19, 2018 at 6:45 a.m. the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident on Beaver Dam Lake at the Hickory Point Road boat launch ramp in the Town of Westford, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
Preliminary investigation shows a Dodge pickup truck was in the water approximately 20 yards from shore.
A 52-year-old male was located and pronounced dead by the Dodge County Medical Examiner.
The Fond du lac County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team responded to the scene and conducted a search of the water near the vehicle but did not locate any other victims.
The identity of the male will be released after notification of family members.
The incident remains under investigation by the Dodge County Medical Examiner and the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
Assisting at the scene was: Randolph Fire and EMS, Fox Lake Fire Department, Fox Lake Police, Beaver Dam Fire Department and Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain.
