Jan. 26, 2018 – Town of Kewaskum, WI – On Friday, January 26, 2018 at approximately 1:44 a.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male subject trapped under a large compacted bale of corn stalks at a farm located in the 8700 block of Forest View Rd. in the Town of Kewaskum.
Deputies and Rescue Personnel from the Kewaskum Fire Department were subsequently dispatched to the scene.
Shortly after they arrived, the victim, a 36-year-old Village of Kewaskum man, was determined to be deceased.
The circumstances appear accidental.
No further information will be released at this time as the matter remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
