Obit: Rheina G. Klein (nee Giese), 100, of West Bend

 

Dec. 21, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Rheina G. Klein (nee Giese), 100, of West Bend, found peace on Sunday, December 17, 2017

She was born on March 23, 1917 in the Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County to the late Carl and Lillie (nee Feldmann) Giese. She graduated from Elkhart Lake High School with the class of 1934. On February 14, 1937 she was united in marriage to Orville Klein in West Bend. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1986.

She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and the West Bend Company 25 year club having been employed there for 35 years. Rheina enjoyed playing sheepshead and traveling, having been to all the 50 states and several foreign countries.

Those Rheina leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two sons, David (Kathleen) Klein of Elm Grove and John (Connie) Klein of Mundelein, IL.; a son-in-law, Robert (Paula) Hensler; ten grandchildren, Jan (Russ) Suchon, Peter (Cheryl) Hensler, Michael (Gwenn) Hensler, Steve (Karen) Hensler, Barbara (Jeff) Van Fleet, Tom (Barb) Klein, Tim (Jeni) Klein, Susan (John) Hutchinson, Jennifer  Crawshaw, and Stephanie (Mark) Konieczka; two step-granddaughters, Tabrea (Jim) Yunker and Aurele (Frank) Van Reck; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Orville Klein; her daughter, Patricia Hensler; two sisters, Gladys Dickman and Lucile (Edwin) Miller; a brother, Fred Giese; and four sisters-in-law, Delores Giese, Margaret Nohr, Marian Calenburg, and Helen (Edwin) Junk.

A memorial service in remembrance of Rheina will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Memorials to a charity of your choice in memory of Rheina is appreciated by the family.
