Nov. 16, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Valerie “Val” Hall (nee Mason), 79, of West Bend passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Kathy Hospice, West Bend.
She was born on September 16, 1938 to the late Ellis and Lenore (nee Schneider) Mason in Milwaukee WI. Val graduated from Cedarburg High School. On May 9, 1959 she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Larry Hall. She worked at Tecumseh, formerly Power Products, in Grafton for 30 years. She enjoyed snowmobiling trips and traveling to Door County for vacations. Val loved the water and always made sure the pool was ready for the season. The most important thing to her was spending time with her family and enjoyed taking the grandkids to Port Washington. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Those Val leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband Larry Hall; three children, Linda Preschat, Laurie (Brian) Fuller, and John (Michelle) Hall; five grandchildren, Kassy (Richard) Loberger, Kyle (fiancée Jolene) Karnitz, Brandon Fuller, Alisha Hall, Christian Hall; three great-grandchildren, Lucas, Liam, and Christoph; two sisters, Claudia (Allan) Benicke and Camille (Ken) Krahn; a brother, Art Mason; two brothers-in-law, Jeff Hall and Milton Dehling Jr.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Allen Richard Hall, two sisters, Roberta Dehling and Victoria Mason; a brother, James Mason; a brother-in-law, William Hall; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Trostel.
A memorial service in remembrance of Val will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
