Obit: Michael F. Schroepfer, 60

 

Nov. 12, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Michael F. Schroepfer, 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2017, in his home surrounded by family.  He was born on October 31, 1957 in Milwaukee, WI to Donald and Elizabeth (nee Seidl) Schroepfer.

He married his best friend, hunting partner and love of 36 years, Teresa (nee Peplinski) Schroepfer.  They were blessed with two beautiful children and grandchildren.  He was a very avid outdoorsman, spent many weekends at Billy’s Polish Ponderosa and had many traveling adventures with Mary and Rod.  Michael lived a life of “no regrets.”  He was a very outgoing and loving person and will be truly missed by many.

Michael is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Terry; children, Elizabeth (Aaron) Gabriel, Adam; adoring grandpa of Bernadette and Baird; dear brother of Kathy (Charles) Rehorst, Neil, Mary Ellen, Cindy (Jim), brother-in-law to Diane (Ronald) Cook, Mary (Rodney) Libby, Joseph Peplinski and Sandra (Mike) Caravella.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Barbara Peplinski.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave. West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Patrick Heppe presiding.  Visitation at church Friday, November 17, 2017 from 12:30 PM until 2:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to FRIENDS, INC. (P.O. Box 117 West Bend, WI 53095) and/or the Full Shelf Food Pantry of Washington County (P.O. Box 1157 West Bend, WI 53095).

A special thank you to Lynn (Jeff) Kreuser, Billy Tandetzke, Amber Schroepfer, Janet Roth, the Horizon Hospice team, especially Meghan and Vina, Dr. Connelly and Dr. Bovi from Froedtert.

Another special thank you from Terry to all the friends, neighbors and family who helped with the lawn, brought food, all the loving cards, Mike appreciated it all and truly knew you were there.
