Nov. 12, 2017 – West Bend, WI –The Student Veterans of America at UW-Washington County (UW-WC) are commemorating Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 13, with a ceremony that begins at noon in the campus theatre.
Everyone is welcome to attend with a special welcome to area veterans and their families (no reservations are needed).
According to Adam Buckelman, President of the Student Veterans of America Association, the 20 minute presentation will include colors, provided by the local VFW and songs by the Moraine Chorus.
The guest speaker is Roger Cross, who served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1966 to 1972, including a stint in Vietnam as a mortar gunner.
The Veterans club plans to serve lunch and refreshments while supplies last, following the ceremony.
