Over a dozen complaints of vandalism by pumpkin in Fond du Lac | By Bob Nelson

 

Nov. 3, 2017 – Fond du Lac, WI – A modern-day version of the headless horseman rode through Fond du Lac on Friday morning throwing pumpkins at cars and mailboxes.

Fond du Lac Police took 16 reports through late Friday morning about the vandalism.

A full-size white van was spotted traveling at a high rate of speed with a passenger tossing pumpkins. The pumpkins smashed a number of car windows and mailboxes. Assistant Police Chief Steve Thiry said the damage was primarily to vehicles.
