Oct. 24, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Follow up on the robbery story from Monday evening in Barton.
On Monday, Oct. 23, 2017 at 9:50 p.m., a male suspect wearing a ski mask entered Mad Max Shell, 1650 N. Main Street in Barton and forcibly removed money. The suspect fled the store on foot. The suspect is described as a male, 5’ 11”, 150 to 160lbs, thin build, wearing a ski mask and dark clothing.
There were no customers in the store and the employee was not injured during the incident. Anyone with any information should call the West Bend Police Department at (262) 335-5000.
OWI WITH MINOR AS PASSENGER/ GOING ARMED WHILE INTOXICATED
1500 Block W. Paradise Dr.
On Monday, Oct. 23, 2017 at 11:38 a.m., a citizen reported observing a vehicle being driven erratically in the 1500 Block of W. Paradise Dr. West Bend Officers located the suspect vehicle and stopped the driver in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The driver, a 32-year-old male resident from Jackson had his 4 year old and 7 year old children in the car.
The man was also armed with a handgun when the officer stopped him. The man had a concealed carry permit. The officer observed signs the man was intoxicated. The man failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .11 in a PBT and was arrested for OWI with Minor Children as Passengers and Going Armed While Intoxicated.
