Oct. 13, 2017 – Washington Co., WI – After holding quite steady at $2.49 for a gallon of regular unleaded, gas prices in the Washington County are started dropping this week.
Several West Bend stations are down to $2.45 per gallon of regular.
Slinger and Kewaskum are charging $2.44 for a gallon of regular. Addison Station, all three Jackson stations, and most Hartford stations are charging $2.39 for a gallon of regular.
Just over the Dodge County line, the K-stop has a gallon of regular unleaded at $2.37 while our neighbors in Germantown are super low at $2.23 a gallon of regular unleaded.
Prices in Madison on Thursday were at $2.23
I would love to see an investigative piece into the ongoing price difference in counties. I do a lot of work in Washington County, but will not fill up there unless I absolutely have to. The difference is at least 20 cents a gallon, two weeks ago it was literally 26 cents a gallon difference. Why?
