Oct. 11, 2017 – Kohlsville, WI – Over 100 people turned out on a rainy Tuesday night to tour the Kohlsville Fire Department during its annual Open House. The event is part of Fire Prevention Month.
Volunteer firefighter Davey Jacak showed off his battery-changing skills as he checked the smoke detectors at the fire house.
Property Loss Management had a table full of giveaways – spoiling the adults with an array of hunting knives, flashlights and baking necessities.
The kids enjoyed fun pumpkin giveaways and a lot of hands-on instruction from real volunteer firefighters.
Tonight the Jackson Fire Department will host its Open House from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Thursday the Kewaskum Fire Department will host its open house from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Don’t forget this Sunday is the Allenton/St. Lawrence Fire Department Open House and Pancake Breakfast.
