Oct. 10, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The big Petal it Forward event is less than 12 hours away… and I stopped in to see if there was an frantic, flower frenzy at Bits ‘N’ Pieces in West Bend as Cassie, Deb, Pat and the crew prepped for the big day.
They were low key and organized as usual.
If you haven’t heard Wednesday, Oct. 11 is Petal it Forward. It’s a national campaign where local florists take part in a feel-good campaign of brightening someone’s spirits by passing along free flowers.
Bits ‘N’ Pieces will give away 2 bouquets to the first 50 people in the store; one bouquet is to keep and the other is to pass to someone else!
There will be 100 bouquets distributed by Bits staffers as they scout around town looking to SURPRISE lucky recipients.
“Look for our bright pink shirts,” said Cassie. “We can’t wait to see all of the smiles!”
Neighbors are encouraged to join in, purchase some flowers and surprise a friend, elderly person, or a complete stranger.
