Obit: Ronald Webber, 68

Ronald George Webber, age 68 of Singer, WI passed away peacefully at Kathy Hospice on January 25, 2016.  He was born to George and Beryl (Nee Stemp) Webber on March 26, 1947 in Milwaukee and raised in Katzenbach, WI.  Ronald graduated from Slinger High School in 1965 and married the love of his life, Bonnie (Nee Sullivan) at St Frances Cabrini Church in West Bend, WI in 1976.

Ronald was an Eagle Scout in high school and later joined the United States Army in 1966.  He was honorably discharged in 1968.  He became a Boy Scout leader just out of the Military and when he had kids, he became the Cub Master of their troop for many years.  Ronald loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, camping, gardening and bird watching.  Ronald was a sports fan and delighted in watching wrestling meets, Green Bay Packers games and listening to the Brewers games on the radio. He donated regularly to charities and prayed for those in need. Ronald was the head usher at St. Peter Catholic Church for several years and volunteered many hours to the Slinger/Allenton Soccer Club.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Bonnie, his children, Shaun (Jamie), Nicholas (fiancé Heather Phillips), Kelly (Dustin) Brantner and Andrew (Christina Schrubbe); grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Abbi, Karissa, Dakota George and Ayden.  He is further survived by his extended family the Jungahans (cousins), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and his dog Bea.

He is preceded in death by his parents, cousins and many close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 East Washington St. Slinger, WI) with Father Richard Stoffel presiding.  Visitation will be at the church from 9:00-10:45AM.  Military Honors will immediately follow the mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be given to either of Ronald’s favorite charities: International Rescue Committee (122 E 42nd St. New York, NY 10168-1289) or The Milwaukee Rescue Mission (830 N 19th St. Milwaukee, WI 53233)
