Oct. 4, 2917 – Washington Co., WI – The UW-WC Wildcat golf team finished runner-up in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference State Golf Tournament this past weekend.
Under coach John Minz, the Wildcats have become a golf powerhouse. In the last three years the Wildcats have earned Player of the Year three times, six All-Conference Players, one State Team Final and two State Team Runner-Up trophies.
“Our four team members, Kevin Albrecht, Nikki Differt, Sam Krause, and Ryan Rausch, played great all season,” coach Minz said. “Playing tournament golf with four players is tough. Finishing with five invite titles and as the WCC State Runner-Up is an exceptional year. I’m very proud of them. It is an honor to be their coach.”
