Kettle Moraine Lutheran falls to a strong University School of Milwaukee | By Jacob Moeller

August 31, 2017 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran took on rivals University School of Milwaukee on Thursday afternoon and the Chargers fell to the Wildcats 2-1.

USM dominated possession throughout the match, keeping the Chargers pinned back in their own half for the majority of the contest. But it was KML that drew first blood, when Joseph Raasch curled a fantastic shot into the bottom corner after 28 minutes.

The Chargers took the lead into halftime, but USM came out flying in the second frame, equalizing through Matias Dermond’s goal in the 52nd minute and taking the lead for good in the 75th minute on a Brodie Mutschler shot.

KML is off for the weekend, but will look to bounce back from the loss on Tuesday when it hosts conference foe Winneconne.
