Obit: Walburga “Wallie” Peil, 91, of St. Lawrence

July 22, 2017 – St. Lawrence, WI – Walburga “Wallie” E. Peil (nee Mueller), age 91 years, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.  She was born on November 5, 1925 in St. Lawrence to Anton and Caroline (nee Guenther) Mueller.  Wallie married the late Allen C. Peil on April 12, 1947 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  The couple moved to family farm and helped on the family homestead.  Wallie loved her pets, gardening, and playing cards.

Wallie is survived by her children, Claudette (Al) Moll of Kewaskum, Allen Peil of Slinger, Carol (Tom) Bricko of Northfield, MN, Gerald (Christine) Peil of Hartford, Suzanne Quinn of Thiensville, Joseph Peil of Jackson, John Peil of Allenton; grandchildren, Ben (Jen) and Joe (Andrea) Bricko, Crystal (Bobby) Fassbender; 2 step grandchildren Matthew Perszyk and Jessica (Tony) Dederich, great grandchildren Kailey, Elliana, and Isaak Bricko, Alexa and Adelyn Bricko, June, Joseph, and James Fassbender, brother Leo Mueller.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives friends, and her four legged friend Morris.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Allen, siblings Stanley (Helen) Mueller, Frieda (LeRoy) Wenninger, Sr. Antonie Mueller, Martin Mueller, brother-in-law Clifford (Margaret) Peil, sisters-in-law Betty Mueller and Caroline Mueller.

A Memorial Mass will be at 5:30 pm at St. Peter Catholic Church of Slinger (200 E. Washington St., Slinger) with Father Richard J. Stoffel presiding. Private interment of ashes will take place at Cedar Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church only on Friday, July 28 from 4:00 pm until time of mass (5:30 pm).  Memorials are appreciated to St. Peter’s Building Fund (208 E. Washington St., Slinger, WI 53086) or Washington Co. Humane Society 3650 State Road 60, Slinger, WI 53086).

 

A Special Thank You to the staff of the Pavillion Rehab, Serenity Villa, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Verizon Hospice for their care of our mom.  Especially to our brother Joe for looking after mom.
