Kettle Moraine YMCA needs help collecting shoes for its Annual Campaign

June 2, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The Kettle Moraine YMCA is nearing the end of its shoe drive and they’re looking for the community to step up and help donate new or gently used shoes of any kind to fill up a truck on June 16.

The shoe drive is being done in cooperation with funds2orgs. Profit is based on the weight of the shoes with a goal of raising $3,000 to go towards the Y’s Annual Campaign.

Please drop off at the Kettle Moraine YMCA Branch or Program Areas.

Make sure shoes are clean, in good condition, soles are still intact, no holes and bound by tying laces together or by rubber bands.

The impact will not only be local but also global with shoes going to Latin America, Caribbean, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe.

All donations are tax deductible.
