Girl injured at Kewaskum ski hill – Flight for Life called

On January 12, 2016, at approximately 6:21 p.m. the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a skiing accident with injury at Sunburst Ski Area.

Life Star ambulance was on scene rendering medical attention to the patient and requested assistance in setting up a landing zone for Flight for Life.

Kewaskum Fire Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s office assisted in setting up the landing zone in the north parking lot of the ski area.

The patient was a 13-year-old Cedarburg girl from a local middle school ski club. She was transported via Flight for Life to Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
