Tune in Tuesday, May 2 to hear Mary Hafeman on the Golf Channel’s Morning Drive at 7:20 a.m.

 

 

May 1, 2017 – West Bend, WI – There’s going to be a familiar face on the Golf Channel Tuesday morning as PGA Professional Mary Hafeman of West Bend will be on live at 7:20 a.m.

 

“I’m going to be talking about adult player-development programs,” said Hafeman. “Because I won that award they’re going to have me on for a 7-minute interview on how to grow the game.”

 

Last November Hafeman was presented with the PGA Player Development Award. Hafeman was honored during the 2016 PGA of America National Awards at the 100th PGA Annual meeting at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City.

 

Taking advantage of her time in the spotlight Hafeman said she’s going to tout West Bend and the upcoming U.S. Open.

 

“I’ve played the U.S. Open; it’s the biggest event in golf,” she said.

 

“I want to talk about how I grew up in West Bend and how Don Hill at the West Bend Country Club created such a fun environment; it was a blast and we couldn’t wait to go out there. That’s what all golf pros should be,” said Hafeman. “Relationship building and trying to encourage people to have fun. Don was such a mentor for me.”

 

The U.S. Open will make its home in the Town of Erin, June 15 – 18.

 

Hafeman, a dual member of both the North Florida and Wisconsin PGA Sections, is President and Owner of Fore in One Golf Services, and is a highly regarded and accomplished player, instructor and operations specialist within the golf industry.

 

A Golf Range Association Top 50 Growing the Game Teacher, Hafeman is extremely active in hosting programs, such as Get Golf Ready, PGA Junior League and LPGA Girls Golf, among others.

 

A local product Hafeman went to school at St. Frances Cabrini and later graduated in 1975 from West Bend East High School.
