Obit: Harry August Justman, 83, of Townsend, WI.

April 17, 2017 – Kewaskum, WI – Harry August Justman, 83, of Townsend, WI, and formerly of Kewaskum, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Langlade Hospital in Antigo.

He was born on February 20, 1934, in the town of Theresa to the late Herbert and Lucille (nee Kedinger) Justman.  Harry attended school in Kewaskum and on June 27, 1953, he was married to Rita Schuppel at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church.

He worked at several area factories, retiring from Weasler Engineering after 23 years.  Harry and Rita moved north to Townsend, WI, in 1999 to enjoy their retirement.  Harry enjoyed playing, sheepshead, listening to polka music, watching the Packers, and spending time with his family.

Those Harry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years, Rita; four children, Jackie (Glenn) Eichstedt of Brownsville, Randy (Sandy) Justman of Kewaskum, Dawn (Gary) Hanson of Plymouth, and Mark (Peggy) Justman of Kewaskum; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Harold (Arlene) Justman, Herbert (Darlene) Justman, Homer (Barbara) Justman all of West Bend and Hiram (Alleen) Justman of Burnett; two sisters, Laura Justman of Racine and Lilly Westerman of West Bend; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Justman of West Bend and Judy Justman of Slinger, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by five brothers, Harvey, Hilary, Hilbert, Howard, and Henry; two infant brothers, Herman and Herbert Justman, and a brother-in-law, Harold Westerman.

A funeral service for Harry will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday April 20, 2017, at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave, in Kewaskum. Burial will follow at Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.

The Justman family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the Townsend EMT’s and Beth Hartman for all the help and care they provided.
