There will be a lot of warm welcomes at Cedar Community today as it’s the first day on the job for Lynn Olson; he is replacing Steve Jaberg as the new CEO.
Olson arrives in West Bend via Hannibal, Missouri where he was the former president / CEO of Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Olson has more than 28 years’ combined leadership experience in acute care and elder care settings. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Winona State University and a master’s of science in health care administration from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Ill.
“Cedar Community has a rich history of providing compassionate, Christian-based, high-quality senior living and related services. I look forward to being part of that tradition, and continuing their commitment to excellence.
“My wife Rene and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in West Bend during the interview process, and we look forward to becoming an active part of the community,” said Olson.
Steve Jaberg is retiring and his last day will be Jan. 22, 2016.
Cedar Community is a not-for-profit, United Church of Christ-affiliated leader whose mission is to model Christ’s love for humanity by creating life-enhancing relationships, services and environments.
