Obit: Kathleen Alice Neumann (nee Shaw), 76, of the Town of Saukville. Kathleen worked as a health unit coordinator at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital in West Bend

Feb. 17, 2017 – Saukville, WI – Kathleen Alice Neumann (nee Shaw), age 76 of the Town of Saukville, died Monday, February 13, 2017. She was born January 7, 1941 to the late Robert and Violet Shaw in LaCrosse, WI.

For many years, Kathleen worked as a health unit coordinator at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital in West Bend until her retirement.

Kathleen loved wild birds. She made sure the feeders on her deck and in her yard were full year long.  Her loving attention attracted many different species.  She also found peace in the fact that she has done her part in getting Donald J. Trump elected in keeping with her conservative values.

She is survived by her 3 sons Steven, John, III and Robert, 2 daughters Sandra (Paul) Verkuilen and Andrea (Paul) Merkt, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her sister Colleen (Virgil) Roberts of LaCrescent, MN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John, II, her sister Theresa Greeno and her brother Thomas.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, February 25 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the benefit of the family are appreciated.

Kathleen’s family would like to thank the Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County, the staff of Cedar Community Rehabilitation Center and the staff of Fresenius Kidney Care in West Bend.
