Feb. 7, 2017 – West Bend, WI – It’s going to be an encore performance tonight for the Liz Borden family as they made it to the second round of Family Feud.
Borden watched the first round of the show Monday night at Casa Tequila in West Bend with more than 100 of her closest family and friends.
http://www.washingtoncountyinsider.com was first to report on Jan. 20 that the Borden family of Hubertus was going to be on the national TV show hosted by Steve Harvey.
The family taped the show in 2015 and was tight lipped about the results. “If we talked about anything related to the outcome they would hold back money,” said Borden.
The family missed qualifying for the money round but they did make it to the next segment which will air tonight at 6 p.m. on Channel 18.
“It’s really exciting …. and NO, I can’t tell you how we do tonight,” laughed Borden.
She said the funniest thing was host Steve Harvey. “We were laughing the entire time,” Borden said. “I was really interested to see how they would edit the show.”Â
Borden said Harvey really had a difficult time pronouncing “Hubertus.”
“So he just said we were from “Hepatitis, Wisconsin,” she said.
There will be no public viewing party for the second round. Borden said Monday night was a lot to take in and she’ll watch at home with her family.
