Jan. 25, 2017 – Hartford, WI – During the Hartford Union High School Board meeting this week the Board moved to eliminate the “Interim” title and extend the Superintendent’s contract for Dr. Attila J. Weninger through the 2017-2018 school year.
The decision was based on a recent study the District had completed by School Exec Connect and an outpouring of support from throughout the community.
Dr. Weninger began July 1 as the Interim Superintendent and was tasked by the School Board with two main goals: to create and implement an effective and efficient leadership team and to build constructive and productive partnerships within the community.
According to School Board President, Josh Schoemann, “After a great deal of deliberation, a careful examination of the focus group feedback from our consultants from School Exec Connect and an outpouring of support from throughout the community for the work Dr. Weninger has done in the past seven months, we are happy to announce that we have offered an administrative contract for the
2017-2018 school year to serve in this important leadership role.”
Moving forward with Dr. Weninger as Superintendent, the district is looking forward to establishing clear goals and objectives in the future to establish a strategic plan to continue to focus on our mission to engage and support all learners to discover their passions, achieve high academic goals, and contribute to a global society.
